DATCHA is a Boston bedroom-pop project comprised of singer, songwriter, and producer Josh Friedman, his wife Julie, and a revolving door of musical collaborators.
DATCHA released their debut album in 2021, and saw the veteran producer (Jenna Lotti, George Woods, Justice Cow) digging deeper and darker in both narrative and sound. Blending with Julie Friedman’s deep, soulful voice, the debut album reflects on a year of two lovers enduring intense pain and chaos, and emerging with earned strength, unity, and love.
